Your Daily Path

Day 01 – Arrival in Colombo

Arrive in Sri Lanka and transfer to Colombo. Explore the city’s historic districts, local markets and oceanfront promenade before relaxing at your heritage hotel.

Day 02 – Colombo to Sigiriya via Dambulla

Travel through rural landscapes towards the Cultural Triangle. Visit Dambulla Cave Temple before continuing to Jetwing Vil Uyana for an evening nature experience through its restored wetland habitats.

Day 03 – Sigiriya & Village Life

Climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress and enjoy panoramic views across the dry-zone landscape. Later, cycle through paddy fields and villages before enjoying a traditional locally hosted lunch.

Day 04 – Polonnaruwa Ancient Kingdom

Explore the UNESCO-listed ancient city of Polonnaruwa by bicycle. Discover royal ruins, ancient reservoirs, monasteries and the remarkable Gal Vihara statues.

Day 05 – Sigiriya to Knuckles

Travel into the biodiversity-rich Knuckles Mountain Range. Check in to your eco-lodge before an afternoon trek through tea estates, forests, waterfalls and mountain landscapes.

Day 06 – Knuckles Conservation & Trekking

Spend a full day hiking remote trails and discovering waterfalls, forests and mountain villages. Learn about endemic biodiversity, conservation challenges and community sustainability initiatives.

Day 07 – Knuckles to Kandy

Journey through the mountains to Kandy. Visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and enjoy a relaxed walk around Kandy Lake and the historic city centre.

Day 08 – Kandy to Nuwara Eliya

Travel through spectacular tea country and visit a tea estate to learn about sustainable cultivation and production. Settle into your restored colonial tea bungalow surrounded by plantations.

Day 09 – Horton Plains Wilderness

Set out early for Horton Plains National Park and trek through montane grasslands and cloud forests to World’s End and Baker’s Falls. Enjoy a relaxed afternoon in the peaceful tea country.

Day 10 – Nuwara Eliya to Ella

Board the scenic train from Nanu Oya to Ella, passing through tea plantations, waterfalls, tunnels and mountain scenery. Explore Nine Arches Bridge before relaxing at your eco-conscious mountain resort.

Day 11 – Ella Adventure & Nature

Hike to Ella Rock for spectacular views across the southern highlands. Explore tea trails and rural villages with a local guide, with an optional visit to Ravana Falls.

Day 12 – Ella to Yala

Travel from the highlands into Sri Lanka’s dry-zone wilderness. Enjoy an afternoon safari in Yala National Park before relaxing at your luxury conservation-focused safari lodge.

Day 13 – Yala to Mirissa

Enjoy an optional morning safari or birdwatching experience before travelling along the southern coast. Join a seasonal whale-watching excursion from Mirissa or relax on the beach.

Day 14 – Galle to Departure

Explore Galle Fort’s heritage architecture, artisan workshops and cafés before beginning your journey to the airport. Optional stops for local handicrafts and ethically sourced souvenirs can be arranged.
