Your Daily Path

Day 01 – Arrival in Negombo

Arrive in Sri Lanka and transfer to your family-friendly coastal resort in Negombo. Relax on the beach or enjoy an optional mangrove boat ride before a welcome family dinner.

Day 02 – Negombo to Anuradhapura

Travel through rural landscapes to the ancient city of Anuradhapura. Explore its impressive stupas, reservoirs and historic sites through engaging storytelling, with optional sunset cycling for older children.

Day 03 – Anuradhapura to Polonnaruwa

Continue to the ancient kingdom of Polonnaruwa. Explore its royal palaces, temples and ruins by bicycle or tuk-tuk before relaxing at the hotel pool.

Day 04 – Polonnaruwa to Sigiriya & Dambulla

Travel towards Sigiriya and enjoy a family village experience featuring a bullock cart ride, canoe crossing and traditional cooking demonstration. Visit the UNESCO-listed Dambulla Cave Temple before a relaxed evening in nature.

Day 05 – Sigiriya to Kandy

Climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress for spectacular views, with Pidurangala or the landscaped gardens available as alternatives for younger children. Continue to Kandy for a lakeside stroll and optional cultural performance.

Day 06 – Kandy to Ella by Scenic Train

Visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic before boarding the iconic hill-country train. Travel through tea plantations, waterfalls, tunnels and mountain valleys before arriving in Ella.

Day 07 – Ella Family Adventure

Discover Nine Arches Bridge and enjoy the gentle trail to Little Adam’s Peak. Older children and teenagers can try the Flying Ravana Zipline, while families can enjoy Ella’s cafés and relaxed mountain atmosphere.

Day 08 – Ella to Yala

Travel from the highlands to Yala’s dry-zone wilderness. Enjoy an afternoon jeep safari searching for elephants, leopards, crocodiles, buffalo and birdlife before relaxing beneath the stars.

Day 09 – Yala to Galle

Enjoy an optional morning safari before travelling along the southern coast to Galle. Explore the UNESCO-listed Galle Fort, including its museums, galleries, artisan shops, cafés and historic ramparts.

Day 10 – Galle & Southern Coast

Enjoy a relaxed day discovering Galle Fort at your own pace. Visit local creative spaces or cycle along coastal lanes before spending the afternoon at Unawatuna or Jungle Beach.

Day 11 – Galle to Hikkaduwa

Travel along the coast to Hikkaduwa and learn about marine conservation at a turtle conservation project. Enjoy optional snorkelling, a glass-bottom boat ride, or beginner surfing before a family farewell dinner by the ocean.

Day 12 – Departure

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast and some final leisure time depending on your flight schedule. Private transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport for departure.
