Your Daily Path

Day 01 – Arrival in Negombo

Arrive in Sri Lanka and transfer to Negombo. Relax at your lagoon-side resort with an optional sunset lagoon walk or catamaran experience.

Day 02 – Negombo to Kalpitiya

Travel along the quieter western coastline to Kalpitiya. Explore its mangroves and lagoons by kayak or with a local naturalist.

Day 03 – Kalpitiya Marine & Nature

Enjoy a seasonal dolphin-watching excursion or choose kitesurfing during the May–October season. Alternatively, explore the lagoon’s birdlife and coastal habitats.

Day 04 – Kalpitiya to Sigiriya

Travel inland through rural landscapes to Sigiriya. Enjoy an evening nature walk through Jetwing Vil Uyana’s restored wetlands and wildlife habitats.

Day 05 – Sigiriya Heritage & Village Life

Climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress and enjoy panoramic views across the Cultural Triangle. Later, cycle through villages and farming landscapes, with an optional sunset visit to Pidurangala Rock.

 

Day 06 – Sigiriya to Trincomalee

Travel towards the east coast through forests and rural landscapes. Visit Koneswaram Temple and Swami Rock before relaxing at your beachfront retreat.

Day 07 – Trincomalee to Kandy

Travel inland towards Kandy through changing landscapes. Visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and enjoy an evening walk around Kandy Lake.

Day 08 – Kandy to Nuwara Eliya

Journey through misty tea country and mountain landscapes. Visit a tea estate to learn about sustainable cultivation before settling into your colonial tea bungalow.

Day 09 – Horton Plains National Park

Set out before dawn for Horton Plains National Park. Trek through cloud forests and montane grasslands to World’s End and Baker’s Falls before returning to the highlands.

Day 10 – Nuwara Eliya to Ella

Board the scenic train from Nanu Oya to Ella through tea plantations, waterfalls, valleys and mountain tunnels. Visit Nine Arches Bridge and enjoy the surrounding tea trails.

Day 11 – Ella to Udawalawe

Begin with an optional Ella Rock hike before travelling south to Udawalawe. Enjoy an afternoon safari renowned for elephants and diverse birdlife.

Day 12 – Udawalawe to Tangalle

Enjoy an optional morning wildlife experience before continuing to Tangalle. Relax at your beachfront resort with opportunities for coastal walks and wellness experiences.

Day 13 – Tangalle to Galle

Follow the southern coastline towards Galle. Explore Galle Fort’s heritage architecture, galleries, artisan workshops and oceanfront ramparts before a farewell dinner.

Day 14 – Departure

Enjoy a relaxed final morning before transferring to Bandaranaike International Airport. An optional stop for locally produced handicrafts and souvenirs can be arranged depending on your flight time.
